In early 2017, I bought some Bitcoin and witnessed its price soar from $1K to $20K in one year. I was hooked. Experiencing 20x returns and even greater gains in the ICO space, I began exploring other coins. However, the crypto research and trading space was chaotic and fragmented, with information scattered across YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, and WhatsApp. Bold claims of traders making over 100x gains were rampant. Thus began my journey through the challenges of early adoption, leveraged trading, initial coin offerings, key opinion leaders (KOLs), misinformation, rug pulls, and hacks.
