Driving Change: Raymond Thomas on Singapore’s Talent Future

Raymond Thomas is a talented architect shaping Singapore’s leadership pipeline for the digital age. As Co-Founder of Enible Pte Ltd, Raymond has guided thousands of professionals across UOB, A*Star, NTUC, and RWS toward personal mastery and organizational excellence.

In this SG60 Showcase feature, Raymond shares why emotional intelligence, behavioral design, and inclusive upskilling are the keys to a future-ready Singapore. With decades of cross-sector experience and an award-winning methodology, he’s turning learning into lasting leadership.

Designing Next-Gen Leaders in a Digital Economy

Q: What program have you led that contributes meaningfully to Singapore’s development?

A: One of the most impactful initiatives I’ve led is our bespoke Leadership Essentials Program, designed to support Singapore’s next-generation leaders. Delivered in collaboration with industry partners, the program blends experiential learning with practical tools and performance coaching.

It focuses on a mindset of problem-solving, performance management, and leadership communication. Structured as high-intensity, one-day sessions, it enables professionals to apply their knowledge and skills immediately. What made it truly powerful was the cross-sector participation, creating an ecosystem of learning across industries.

This initiative helped strengthen leadership pathways for high-potential talent, supporting both retention and progression. It directly supports Singapore’s workforce upskilling agenda and national goal to remain competitive amid technological change.

Q: Why is your approach particularly relevant for Singapore’s next phase of growth?

A: I focus on structured, scalable development, rooted in real-world leadership demands. My methodology integrates emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and adaptive thinking. My commitment is to instill behavioral change through inclusive leadership journeys—building frameworks that empower every professional, from emerging leaders to C-suite executives. As Singapore invests in green, digital, and human capital, this holistic approach ensures we’re not just developing skills—we’re cultivating future-ready mindsets.

Q: Who have you worked with recently in Singapore?

A: Clients include UOB, A*Star, NTUC, and Resorts World Sentosa. Our impact spans industries and organizational levels because leadership is needed everywhere.

Participants engage in a leadership session led by the Enible team, applying real-world communication tools.

Signature Programs That Drive Sustainable Change

Q: What are your most impactful programs, and how do they align with national goals?

A: Our three signature offerings are:

  • Train-the-Trainer Program: Equips internal leaders to become skilled facilitators, ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainability.
  • Effective Self Leadership: Focuses on resilience, adaptability, and accountability—key traits in today’s workplace.
  • Strategy Execution & Innovation: Helps leaders align strategic thinking with execution, fueling innovation and agility.

Each program is grounded in neuroscience and performance psychology. Our 4As framework—Acknowledge, Accept, Act, Adapt—is the backbone of these sessions, guiding sustainable behavioral change.

Q: What sets you apart from others in leadership development?

A: My superpower is emotional connection. I read and shift emotional energy in a room—an ability honed over 30  years. I combine deep corporate experience with interactive, high-retention facilitation. My style is not to teach—I catalyze.

As a past President of Asia Professional Speakers Singapore, I’ve built a community around growth. Whether through executive coaching, train-the-trainer formats, or national workshops, I create learning environments that unlock fundamental transformation.

Q: How do you stay current and continuously improve?

A: I read industry research, attend global events, and engage in constant professional development. I’m also active in mentoring, peer feedback, and industry collaboration. Every session I run is an opportunity to learn, evolve, and deliver sharper insights.
