Eugene Seah: Build Your Brand, Future-Proof Your Career

Eugene Seah is the Founder of Trainium Academy and a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP)—a title held by only the top 12% of global speakers.

A former corporate executive turned abundance life coach, Eugene has trained over 10,000 professionals across Singapore and beyond. He is best known for helping C-suite leaders, entrepreneurs, and high-potential professionals build powerful personal brands and a mindset of abundance.

In this SG60 Showcase feature, Eugene reveals how his frameworks, public speaking leadership, and national mentorship efforts are preparing Singapore’s workforce to thrive with clarity, courage, and connection.

Empowering Singapore Through Mindset & Brand Transformation

Q: You’ve contributed to Singapore’s development through multiple initiatives. Can you share one that stands out?

A: As Convention Chair of the APSS Convention 2025, I brought together 40 speakers from 12 countries and 175 delegates from 16 countries under the theme “Amplify Imagination.” This positioned Singapore as a thought leadership hub for professional speaking in Asia.

At Trainium Academy, I created the F.U.N. methodology—focused on experiential learning—which has transformed the careers of hundreds across Singapore. My personal branding book, “Superbrand Me,” equips professionals with strategies to stay competitive in today’s digital-first economy.

I also mentor students at Marsiling Primary School, co-founded SG Catalyst to support community transformation, and helped raise professional standards through The Trainers Synergy. These efforts contribute to a stronger, more confident, and globally competent workforce.

Coaching Future-Ready Leaders with Cultural & Corporate Insight

Q: What unique expertise do you bring that aligns with Singapore’s future goals?

A: I bridge 15 years of senior corporate experience in Asia with transformational coaching. My personal journey—from corporate burnout to abundance life coach—helps professionals transition purposefully in today’s fast-changing landscape. My bilingual abilities (English and Mandarin) and global experience across 12+ countries allow me to coach with cultural intelligence.

I developed the 3M framework—Mindset, Mastery, and Money—which addresses holistic personal development, especially critical in an AI-augmented world. My approach blends international models like ICF, NLP, and DISC with Singaporean sensibilities, ensuring relevance. It’s about cultivating leaders who are resilient, grounded, and globally ready.

Q: How many Singaporeans have benefited from your work?

A: I’ve trained and influenced more than 10,000 Singaporean professionals across public and private sectors. Organizations like Singtel, GIC, Google, Adidas, BCA, Mindef, SGX, and GSK have engaged my coaching or speaking services. I also serve on the leadership of APSS and mentor youth through initiatives like SG Catalyst and Marsiling Primary School.

From Corporate Zombie to Transformational Coach

Q: What sets you apart from others in the personal development and coaching field?

A: I’ve walked the talk. From corporate executive to burnout survivor to coach, I bring lived experience and relatable insight. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, and “Singlish,” which makes my sessions both impactful and fun. My F.U.N. and 3M frameworks deliver practical tools, not just motivation.

Q: How do you stay sharp in an evolving industry?

A: I constantly learn through ICF coaching programs, international speaker conventions, and regular collaboration with global trainers. I lead and learn with APSS, and I consult widely across industries. My Superbrand Me Club gives me real-time feedback on professional needs. And I continue to invest in certifications, mentor under industry legends, and test new ideas in real coaching environments.
