Finfin Nataly

Finfin Nataly is an Editorial Fellow at New in Asia, with a background in Global Studies and Communication from Monash University and currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Strategic and Defence Studies at the University of Malaya. Passionate about leveraging communication to create meaningful community impact, she previously served as a Community Executive at FutureLab, where she fostered mentor–mentee engagement, drove cross-border collaborations, and strengthened professional networks across Southeast Asia. Alongside her fellowship, she is building In Discourse, a media platform making complex socio-political issues accessible and engaging. Beyond her editorial work, she explores research interests in traditional security and ASEAN’s centrality in the Indo-Pacific.
