About NewInAsia

NewInAsia is Asia’s go-to platform for business insights, startup stories, and innovation highlights. We spotlight emerging entrepreneurs, disruptive technologies, and the people reshaping Asia’s future economy.

We’re building a regional network of Editorial Fellows — passionate early-career writers who want to develop their craft, gain exposure, and bring fresh, local perspectives to our growing audience.

What You’ll Do

• Research and write original stories, interviews, or features on startups, founders, tech, or local business trends in your country.
  
• Pitch fresh, relevant story ideas from your local startup and innovation ecosystem.
  
• Receive constructive editorial feedback and personalized guidance on every piece to help you sharpen your writing and reporting skills.
  
• Get your work published on NewInAsia.com, credited under your byline, and shared with our audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders.
  
• Be listed as a NewInAsia Editorial Fellow on our website and in our newsletters — you can proudly add this fellowship to your LinkedIn and CV.
  

Who Should Apply

✅ University students, recent graduates, or early-career storytellers looking to break into journalism, content creation, or startup reporting.
✅ Curious, self-motivated, and passionate about business, technology, startups, or community-driven stories.
✅ Reliable and responsive, with the ability to deliver 1–2 well-crafted stories per month.
✅ Based anywhere in Asia — we aim to have 2–3 Fellows per country to capture diverse voices and local perspectives.
