Kenneth Kwan: Championing Optimism in Organisational Change

Kenneth Kwan, Managing Partner at Deep Impact Pte Ltd, has spent over 18 years transforming how Singapore’s leaders think about and lead change.

With a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation and experience working with some of the nation’s most influential organisations, Kenneth brings powerful insights into behaviour change, leadership development, and building cultures that drive sustainable transformation.

In this SG60 Showcase, Kenneth shares how the solution-focused approach has helped reshape organisations and why leading change is the key ingredient for national progress.

Driving Behavioural and Organisational Change in Healthcare

Q: Describe a specific initiative or program you’ve led that has contributed to Singapore’s development in the past 5 years.

A: Over the past five years, my team and I have worked closely with many large organisations to lead change and deliver results. The most recent works are with SingHealth and NUHS to support Singapore’s national healthcare transformation, particularly in line with the Healthier SG initiative.

This involved collaborating with senior leaders and middle managers to reshape mindsets, lead large-scale change and process improvement efforts across departments.

Our work focused on developing strategic roadmaps, building leadership alignment, and helping teams shift their mindset towards preventive care and proactive health ownership. Through deep facilitation, we helped organisations embed behavioural change into daily operations—not just through workshops, but by driving strategic, cultural shifts.

These transformation efforts have touched thousands of staff and significantly enhanced healthcare delivery, patient experience, and internal engagement. This work directly contributes to Singapore’s broader goals of creating a resilient, high-performing, and people-first healthcare system.

Helping Leaders Move from Problem-Focused to Possibility-Oriented

Q: What unique perspective or expertise do you bring that is particularly relevant to Singapore’s next chapter of growth?

A: Change is now a constant. What I bring is the ability to help leaders lead through change, optimistically and intentionally. My facilitation style moves leaders from being problem-focused to becoming solution-focused. It’s not about fixing what’s broken, but about building what’s possible.

Through practical frameworks, I help teams across government, healthcare, and business navigate transformation with clarity, confidence, and ownership. I believe culture is the greatest enabler of strategy. When individuals are empowered to take initiative, collaborate across silos, and lead with purpose, organisations thrive.

This shift in mindset aligns with Singapore’s journey toward greater innovation, digital adoption, and workforce readiness. We’re not just solving short-term issues—we’re equipping people to build what’s next.

Q: How many Singaporean professionals have you trained or influenced through your work?

A: More than 10,000.

Q: Which key Singapore-based organisations have you worked with recently?

A: SingHealth, NUHS, Keppel, Civil Service College, Singtel, Mandai Wildlife Group, Singapore Airlines, MOE, A-Star, NEA, ICA, and many more.

Inspiring Transformational Thinking, One Conversation at a Time

Q: What sets you apart from other speakers/trainers in your field?

A: I combine energy, relevance, and real-world success stories to show how change need not be difficult, but enjoyable and possible.  Most people just conduct training and end there, but Deep Impact journeys with them to lead change and deliver results over 1-3 years.

Q: How do you stay current and continuously evolve your craft?

A: I regularly attend conventions and client industry events. I travel to the U.S. and Europe to stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in change leadership. These insights allow me to bring back fresh strategies that keep my clients ahead of the curve.
