Designing Learning That Sticks
Q: Your work spans education and technology. What’s one signature program you’re most proud of, and why has it worked?
A: One of my signature programs is “Designing Learning That Works Using GAIN.” It’s focused on how to build learning systems that can truly change behavior. I draw on years of leading scalable education programs to blend pedagogy, tech, and human motivation — especially for underserved learners.
We use the GAIN framework: Gamification, AI, Incentives, and Network. That mix creates experiences that engage people meaningfully while aligning with strategic goals.
Turning Chaos into Clarity with Systems Thinking
Q: Today’s changemakers operate in fast-paced, resource-strapped environments. Who exactly do you help — and how?
A: Mission-driven professionals who need to move fast with limited resources. I train teams on systems thinking — how to create clear, replicable processes using tools like AI and visual mapping.
The goal is to build internal clarity so they don’t get overwhelmed by complexity. These are changemakers — often in non-profits or social enterprises — who are juggling urgent problems without enough people or time. My sessions help them stay aligned and act decisively.
Reshaping Public Speaking for Thoughtful Professionals
Q: Communication is often a game-changer in leadership. How do you help professionals present themselves with clarity and confidence?
A: I offer a course called “Presenting with Clarity, Confidence, and Authority.” It’s built for thoughtful professionals — not necessarily loud extroverts — who want to speak with impact.
I show them how to structure powerful messages, use presence over volume, and connect through precision, not performance. It’s about being heard without pretending to be someone else.
Rooted in Southeast Asia, Driving Regional Digital Transformation
Q: Your work spans multiple countries across Southeast Asia. How do you ensure your solutions stay relevant and scalable across such diverse contexts?
A: Regional problems need regional minds. Much of my work has taken place in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand — each with its own challenges and opportunities—but all sharing the same digital transformation goals.
I’ve contributed to regional research projects with organizations like the Tech for Good Institute, whose 2025 report on Digital Sustainability in Southeast Asia was supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore. That project was about building scalable and sustainable digital ecosystems — and that’s exactly the kind of work I live for.
Strong leadership in digital governance and innovation creates opportunities for countries in the region to learn from each other. Borders might separate us, but the vision for an inclusive, tech-enabled future is something we share.
Not Just a Trainer — A Builder of Systems
Q: Many trainers talk about impact, but what specifically sets you apart in the way you teach and build capacity?
A: I bring the mindset of a builder, not just a trainer. My sessions are fast-paced and deeply practical, grounded in real-world complexity. I challenge people to think critically, act with urgency, and create systems that actually work.
Whether I’m working with youth, educators, or policymakers, I bring a mix of empathy, edge, and execution.
Staying Sharp in a Changing World
Q: In a fast-changing world, how do you stay sharp and make sure your programs stay relevant and cutting-edge?
A: I treat every training session as both a stage and a lab. I constantly test new methods, especially integrating AI and behavioral design.
Staying close to the field allows me to listen to participants and refine based on what truly works — not just what’s trending. To keep my approach fresh, I also draw from adjacent fields such as systems thinking, development economics, and cognitive science, because learning doesn’t happen in a silo.
